Historique :	Oeuvre trouvée dans les ruines du château de Ventadour lors des fouilles archéologiques réalisées en été 1968 sous la direction de Robert Joudoux ; il s'agit de la clef de la voûte de la croisée d'ogives centrale de la chapelle Saint-Georges. Lors du classement, propriété du duc de Lévis-Mirepoix, qui en fait donation à la commune de Moustier-Ventadour avec le château en juin 1988.
