Historique :	Après la destruction en 1894 de l'église paroissiale d'Ayen bas, une nouvelle église fût édifiée en remployant des éléments anciens tel cet enfeu.

Précision sur_l'état :	L'enfeu a été remonté à cet emplacement après 1894

Précision_sur la representation :	Les culots sur lesquels retombe l'extrados de l'arc sont sculptés de palmettes entrelacées à gauche et de coquilles à droite posées 3 et 2 ; à la retombée de l'arc, deux colonnettes supportent des chapiteaux d'angle, celui de gauche est orné d'une tête d'homme coiffé d'une couronne de fleurs, il est prolongé par une frise en deux registres : en haut des cochons, au-dessous des feuilles ; cette frise est reproduite à droite sans la tête.
