Historique :	Après la destruction en 1894 de l'église paroissiale d'Ayen bas, une nouvelle église fût édifiée en remployant des éléments anciens tel cet enfeu.

Précision_sur la representation :	La clé de l'extrados de l'arc est timbrée de deux masques superposés : un masque à visage humain cornu en bas, un masque d'animal au-dessus ; les culots sur lesquels retombe l'extrados sont décorés de feuilles ; à la retombée de l'arc, deux colonnettes supportent des chapiteaux d'angle ornés de feuilles et prolongés de part et d'autre par des frises.
