Observations :	Le classement de l'ensemble du mobilier de la chapelle des pénitents a été demandé par lettre de préfet de la Corrèze en date du 24 septembre 1969 et par celle du sous-préfet de Brive en date du 30-4-1970. La chapelle des pénitents doit être restaurée prochainement (note G. Quincy, 1-3-1972).
Précision sur_l'état :	Le bois qui était peint et doré en 1970 a été entièrement décapé (ou repeint en faux bois ?).
Précision_sur la protection :	Arrêté préfectoral : Vierge à l'Enfant, statue de bois doré, XVIIIème siècle.
Précision_sur la representation :	La Vierge a les cheveux dénoués sur la nuque. Elle porte un manteau qui vient se draper sur le devant du corps après avoir passé sous le bras droit. Elle tient l'enfant Jésus sur le bras gauche. Ce dernier a les cheveux ondulés. Ses deux pieds nus dépassent de la tunique longue. Il tient de sa main gauche un globe surmonté d'une croix, et bénit de la main droite.
