Observations :	Cette Vierge à l'Enfant est un exemple classique de ce sujet comme il fut souvent traité au 18e siècle, mais ici avec une particulière finesse d'expression (note I. Rooryck, 5-4-1976).
Précision sur_l'état :	Une croix a été ajoutée dans la main droite de la Vierge.
Précision_sur la protection :	Arrêté préfectoral : Vierge à l'Enfant, statue, bois doré et peint polychrome, XVIIIème siècle.
Précision_sur la representation :	Dans la main droite, la Vierge portait un attribut disparu. De la gauche, elle retient les jambes de l'enfant, qu'elle porte contre son épaule, bien soutenu par le bras, d'où tombe un long manteau, laissant voir largement la robe à plis coulissés, sur le devant. L'enfant Jésus, vêtu d'une longue robe, porte le globe symbolisant le monde, surmonté par la croix.
