Historique :	Ce tableau de la 2e moitié du 17e siècle semble inspiré de gravures d'après Charles Le Brun, pour la Vierge, le Christ en croix et le fond d'architecture. Il a été copié par Albert Carré pour remplacer le tableau du maître-autel de Monestier-Port-Dieu (cf. notice PM19000274) lors de sa restauration en 1991.
