Historique :	Oeuvre attribuable à un atelier d'Ussel à la fin du 18e siècle, peut-être à Jean Gourrieyrou qui réalise à la même époque, pour l'église de Saint-Oradoux-de-Chirouze en Creuse, un Christ en tous points identique à celui-ci (cf. notice IM23000683). A comparer également au Christ en croix du retable du maître-autel du Lonzac (cf. notice IM19000940).
