Historique :	Cette statue de facture locale ne comporte qu'une seule couche picturale, ce qui semble indiquer qu'elle est peu ancienne et incite à la dater du 19e siècle. Elle provient de la chapelle Sainte-Madeleine de Naugenac, noyée en 1945 lors de la création du barrage de l'Aigle. Sainte Madeleine était la patronne des gabariers et cette statue semble avoir été portée en procession.
